Fruit Cobbler

Have not been able to blog much recently, what with holidays and all possible school activities seem to come together. But Secret Recipe Club makes sure that I try out a new recipe at least once a month!!! This month I was assigned Jenn's blog A Cook's Quest. I thoroughly enjoyed going through Jenn's work and the range of recipes is commendable!
I finally decided to prepare this lovely looking fig cobbler. I didnt make any changes in the recipe since I was trying cobbler for the first time. Since I had some fresh figs I thought I'd try that. You can find the detailed recipe here. As Jenn promises the crust was delightfully crisp. I did find that the crust browned before the insides got cooked as Jenn warned, will have to work a way around that one next time. I did enjoy diving into this dessert and so did the family!
