This month for my Secret Recipe Club assignment I had Amber's blog Caleighs kitchen. I had a nice time going through Amber's blog, but was particularly interested in the health section.
I found this deliciously healthy and easy to whip up smoothie that caught my eye and taste buds. Thank you Amber for this recipe. I really enjoyed it!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup berry mix (blueberries, strawberries, lingon, goji, raspberries)
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 1 cup homemade yoghurt
- 1 tbsp of flax chia mix
- 1/2 cup almond milk
Preparation
Blend all ingredients. Add honey if required.
You can go wrong with berries in a smoothie! Karen

ReplyDeleteWe keep offering smoothies to my little man but he hasn't caught on yet - but when he does green smoothies will be happening in my blender, too!
ReplyDeleteI often use flax, chia, and almond milk in my smoothies & this looks tasty.
ReplyDeleteI made your pineapple jam for this month & it was delicious!
That sounds very tasty and healthy. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of thing for breakfast on days I am not ready to eat much so early. (I have a bad habit of trying to skip breakfast!) These kind of smoothies help.
ReplyDeleteYum! This smoothie looks delicious! I'm impressed that it didn't turn green as usually mine turn a weird colour when I add berries and spinach... Maybe because I don't add yoghurt?
ReplyDeleteOh the cucumber sounds so refreshing. Yum!
