Crusted Chicken

A very easy dish to whip and finish as well! I prepared this in the air fryer, so no oil was used either. Can be served as a starter, side dish or even included in the lunchbox.

Ingredients
250 gms boneless chicken
1 tbs ginger garlic paste
1tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
1 tbs cream cheese
Bread crumbs

Preparation
  • Cut the chicken to bite size pieces.
  • Marinate in ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and salt for 10 minutes.
  • Dredge in the cream cheese and roll into bread crumbs.
  • Set the air fryer for 160 for 10 minutes.
  • Turn over half way.
  • Serve hot.

  1. Oh these look good Shirley. I love the use of cream cheese instead of egg. Does the air fryer alter the texture or taste in any way? I've been considering an airfryer but wanted some reliable reviews. Any information you can share would be most helpful. Thanks in advance :)

  2. Hi Trisha, am really thrilled with the air fryer so far. Still a new gadget in my kitchen, but quite happy with chicken dishes. No change in texture or taste, didn't use any oil for this one either. Have used it for regular chicken masala as well. Great in terms of convenience. No need to watch over it while cooking, just set and leave. Cooking time also faster.
