Carrot Starfruit Salad

Most mommies are always looking for ways to make their little ones eat their veggies. Especially raw foods and salads. This carrot starfruit salad is my daughter's favourite, the starfruit being her all-time favourite fruit! She has a penchant for the tangy taste. If you haven't tried sprouting sesame seeds, its very simple and adds to the nutrition in a salad.

Carrot-Starfruit Salad
Ingredients-
Carrots grated
Starfruit sliced or chopped
Shredded lettuce
Sprouted sesame seeds
Lemon juice
Extra virgin olive oil
Preparation-
  • Toss all the ingredients together and serve.

  3. I've never tried starfruit on my daughter, though I think she would love it. She just experienced her first kiwi fruit and thought it was awesome.

I love seeing parents get creative about serving their children vegetables. It's a constant battle here too. Thanks for sharing one of your methods.
