Beetroot Rice

2 cups Cooked rice
1 cup peeled and grated beet root
4 sprigs of spring onions chopped
4 cloves of garlic minced
Mustard seeds
1tsp ghee
1/2 cup water


  • Heat ghee and crackle mustard seeds
  • Add garlic and beet root. Sauté.
  • Add the water and allow to cook.
  • Add the spring onions and salt. Sauté.
  • Add the cooked rice, mix well.
  • Serve hot.
