Crab Sticks

Few appetisers are as easy to prepare. I have been wanting to try crab sticks for a while now. The coating used here is the same as popularly used in Indian cuisines for vegetable fritters or bhajis.

6 crab sticks
2tbs chickpea flour or besan
Chilli powder
Oil for frying

  • Season the flour with salt and chilli powder.
  • Add water to prepare a thick paste
  • Dip each stick into the batter and allow to coat well
  • Deep fry.
  • Best served hot. 
  • Enjoy!
