A parent of a fussy eater? An expectant mother? A body builder? Looking for protein packed smoothie? Here's one you can prepare in a jiffy. The flax seeds, almond butter and milk will enrich you with the proteins, while the berries add their anti oxidants and the banana kicks you with instant energy. I have used blueberries, feel free to use any berry of your choice. The milk can be dairy or almonds as per your preference or dietary choice.
You can enjoy this smoothie as part of your breakfast, in between meals or as a comforting drink after your workout.
Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1 tbs berries
1 tsp flax seeds
1 tbs almond butter
1/4 cup milk.
Preparation
- Grind the flax seeds into powder, add all the ingredients and blend.
- Serve and enjoy!
